Herold Solingen Stagenpaste paste for use with leather strops. Compounds enhance the cutting ability of leather strops to quickly get an edge to hair cutting sharp.
This is the medium grit paste, with abrasive particles of 2-4 microns. It is finer than the green paste and gives a near mirror polish and is a great lead in grit to the finer Black Paste. Follow the Red Paste with stropping on plain leather to finish the job or use the Black Paste in between the Red and the plain leather for the smoothest of transitions.
Suitable for making dedicated grit strops.
